Featherstone Rovers 38-18 Swinton Lions
Rovers bounce back with strong win
Featherstone enjoyed a comfortable 38-18 win over Swinton, with Lamont Bryan and substitute Matt James both scoring braces as they banished memories of their Good Friday defeat to York.
Bryan crossed the whitewash to open the home side's account after just 10 minutes, with Liam Finn adding the conversion - his first of five of the afternoon.
Swinton briefly restored parity with a James Mendeika try that was converted by Ryan Shaw, but Andy Kain got Rovers back in front before Bryan notched his second touchdown and Tim Spears crossed the line to give the home side a commanding 22-6 lead at the break.
Four minutes after the restart James crossed, adding his second shortly after to seemingly end any hopes of a Swinton fightback.
Matty Dale made it 38-6 with 22 minutes to go, but Swinton responded with consolation tries from Brad Dwyer and Ritchie Hawkyard as the game drew to a close.
