Bulldogs see off Rams
Tom Hemingway contributed 14 points as Batley Bulldogs claimed a 30-12 Kingstone Press Championship victory over Dewsbury Rams.
Karl Pryce and Greg Scott crossed over early on for the home side with Dale Morton adding the extras as the Rams went 12-0 up in the opening 11 minutes, but they failed to add to that for the remainder of the match as the Bulldogs fought back.
Hemingway scored the first try for the visitors midway through the first half before additions from Jonny Campbell and Ayden Faal saw them take a 16-12 lead into the break after Hemingway was on target with two goals.
While Jason Walton and George Flanagan scored a try apiece in the second half and Hemingway added three goals to see the away side claim the points.
