Hodgson extends Rovers stay
Hull KR's former Great Britain winger David Hodgson will stay on at MS3 Craven Park in 2014 after taking up the option of a third year on his contract.
The 31-year-old has scored 27 tries in 38 appearances for Rovers since joining on a two-year deal from Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2012 season.
"This is a great club to play for; they’re my hometown team and staying here next season was always what I wanted to do,” said Hodgson.
Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock, who has also signed a new deal for next season, said: “Dave is a pleasure to coach.
“He is the ultimate professional and the way he goes about his training and preparation is a great example for our young players.
“On top of that he has been one of our most consistent performers this year.”
