Rochdale Hornets 26-24 London Skolars
Rochdale edge past Skolars
Paul Crook converted Dave Llewellyn's try two minutes from time to give Rochdale Hornets a 26-24 Kingstone Press Championship 1 play-off victory over London Skolars.
The Hornets' victory sets up a semi-final clash with Oldham next weekend, while the Skolars will face an elimination battle with Hemel Stags.
Jordan Case and Dave Sutton went over with Crook adding the extras to both to put the Hornets 12-0 ahead with 20 minutes on the clock.
Oscar Thomas crossed the whitewash with Dylan Skee converting to get the visitors back into the game and a pair of tries from Gareth Raynor edged them ahead early in the second period.
Chris Baines went over for Rochdale and Crook added the extras as the Hornets retook the lead but, just moments later, James Anthony's try again saw the Skolars tie it up at 18-18.
Crook's fourth goal of the afternoon nudged Rochdale ahead but a try from Andy McLean, converted by Skee, gave London a four-point advantage.
Llewellyn's late try then brought the scores level once more and Crook sent over the goal to win it for the Hornets.
