Lions prepare for double-header

Open Age and Under-18s in action this weekend.

Wath Brow Hornets will be the place to be on Sunday when both the English Lions open age and under-18s sides take on their rivals from Scotland.

The under-18s clash kicks off an exciting afternoon of action at 1.00pm, before the senior side takes to the field at 3.15pm for a game which should they win would give them the Home Nations title for 2013.

Big wins over Wales and Ireland have moved the free-scoring Lions to the top of the table and they will be red-hot favourites to make it a hat-trick of victories.

Local interest in the day will be high with both sides having representatives from the host club.

The under-18s squad features Charlie Tomlinson and Scott Pink, whilst the senior side could well see Fran King and Karl Dixon.
