Rhinos reward Foster
Leeds Rhinos have given 20-year-old forward Alex Foster a new three-year contract on the back of his promising debut season in Super League.
The former Wetherby Bulldogs player made his debut at Widnes Vikings at the end of June and went on to play the next eight fixtures during the height of the Rhinos' injury crisis.
"Alex did a great job for us last season and showed that he has a big future in Super League if he continues to work hard,” said Leeds coach Brian McDermott.
Foster added: "I feel like I have been rewarded for my efforts last season and that is a massive boost to my confidence."
