Getting the message right
The RFL team responsible for the Community Game is keen to improve its communications with all participants including parents, players, coaches, teachers, match officials and club volunteers.
RFL Director of Participation and Strategic Partnerships David Gent says: “Our goal is to ensure everyone receives the information they need in a format that suits them.
“With so much news to share from various areas of the RFL, and so many ways to communicate, it’s important that people don’t feel inundated with constant messages.
“We’re trying to get the balance right, so that the important information reaches people in a timely way that works for them.”
As part of this process, the team will be undertaking a short survey in December to establish the elements that currently work well and how things could be improved in the future.
All those involved in the Community Game are invited to answer this on-line survey which should take no more than five minutes to complete. The results will be used to review the current situation and make recommendations for the future.
