Vea to make Broncos bow
Australian forward Atelea Vea is set to make his First Utility Super League debut for London Broncos against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at The Hive on Saturday.
The former St George Illawarra back rower arrived in London today and was immediately named in the Broncos' 19-man squad.
"He's been training back in Australia and is in really good shape," said coach Tony Rea. "He's good to go."
Vea is set to line up alongside his former Dragons team-mate, half-back Josh Drinkwater, who made his debut against Bradford Bulls 11 days ago but was forced to pull out of last week's game against Warrington Wolves after picking up hamstring injury in the warm-up.
"Josh has had a healthy week," said Rea.
