All Golds soar above Skolars
James Muranka and Casey Canterbury each scored a pair of tries as Gloucestershire All Golds climbed above London Skolars into sixth place after a 34-24 Kingstone Press Championship 1 victory at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium.
Dan Spencer-Tonks gave the visitors the lead with a third-minute try but Dennis Tuffour went over for the Skolars three minutes later and Sam Druce's goal edged them ahead before the All Golds retook the lead with Aidan Jenkins' try.
Martyn Smith then went over for the Skolars with Druce adding the extras but the visitors ensured they went into half-time with an 18-12 lead with the first tries of the afternoon from Muranka and Canterbury and a goal from Jenkins.
Gloucestershire extended the advantage 15 minutes into the second half as Muranka went over again but the hosts battled back with tries from Michael Worrincy and James Woodburn-Hall and a pair of Matt Bradley goals to take a 24-22 lead.
But the All Golds responded and tries in the last 10 minutes from Izaak Duffy and Canterbury, both bettered by Jenkins saw them home.
