Barrow Raiders coach fined £250
Barrow Raiders player-coach Bobbie Goulding has been fined £250 after being found guilty of misconduct for questioning the integrity of referee Gareth Hewer following a Kingstone Press Championship match against Doncaster on June 8, 2014.
The fine relates to comments made to the media in a post-match interview.
Mr Goulding was deemed to be in breach of Operational Rule D1.8 (c) by engaging in conduct which is prejudicial to the interests of the game; Operational Rule D1.10 (i) by criticising the character of a match official or criticising the manner in which a match officials has officiated at a game in which the club has taken part; and the RFL Respect Policy.
Mr Goulding has also been issued with a warning as to his future behaviour. £125 of the fine is suspended until the end of the 2015 season.
